Double Peanut Butter Cookies

I love love love looovvveee peanut butter….no joke used to go through an entire Costco sized jar of it in a matter of weeks.

So I thought I would make some peanut butter cookies because peanut butter cookies are always amazing!

The recipe I ended up using was something I kind of made up as I went along.

Double PB Chocolate Chip Cookies

1/2 cup butter (1 stick)

1 egg

2 tbsp vanilla

3/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup white sugar

1 cup Jif Peanut Butter

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp baking powder

2 cups flour

Reese’s Peanut Butter Chips

Chocolate Chips

 

Mix all the wet ingredients together in one bowl and then add the combined dry ingredients. Once all the dry ingredients are combined well, add the chips! AKA the BEST part!! I used a whole bag of each type, which is definitely a lot, but I love when cookies are loaded with chocolate/peanut butter/anything extra. It’s more personal preference than anything.

After everything is all mixed together to your liking, make sure you place the dough in the refrigerator or freezer for a bit of time. Chilling the dough helps keep my cookies nice and soft and round 🙂

Take out the chilled dough and depending on how long you’ve had it in the fridge, set it out until it can be formed into a ball and go to town! Bake the cookies for 10-14 minutes at 350 degrees and enjoy!
